President-PM postpone CB monitoring tour

A monitoring tour of the Central Bank (CB) by President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe, which was to be held yesterday, was postponed last minute.
Informed sources said the event was postponed as President Sirisena was held up in a function in Maharagama. The Prime Minister’s Office spokesperson told Daily Mirror that the tour was postponed as it was decided that the President and Prime Minister should visit the Central Bank together. (YP)
