The Jathika Hela Urumaya has called for the appointments to the Bribery, Elections and Judicial services commission under the proposed 18th amendment to be void of politics and be independent.

The JHU also said this measure should be taken to maintain good governance and strengthen people’s power. (SAJ)

This amendment promises the exact "opposite"!! And you the JHU know this all too well!!! '... this measure should be taken to maintain good governance and strengthen PEOPLE’s power' - pls don't insult our intelligence by saying this... not all of us are so blind (or deaf for that matter) to the obvious!!!!!
