What a chief minister for us. One of the two luckiest guys. The other one is Karuna.

Not for talks, just to take instructions!

Good.. whoever talks please be honest to the people who sacrificed their life for the better life of tamil people.. if we are not united.. we will never.. keep the differences aside and find a common ground..
Please don't see this as a comment against sinhalese....

Why the hell he is invited and what is he going to talk? He is completely rejected by Tamil people so was his former leader.

This is typical of Indian diplomacy.
Pillayan, I believe, already has snake charming skills.

The path is paved for India to hold the reins.

He would have gone to meet his counterpart KARUANANIDHI, an another traitor.
Monday, 07 June 2010 04:50 AM
does Pillayan have the blessings of Mahinda Rajapakse for this visit? Or is India's power so high that he doesn't need to get permission from Lanka to speak to the the Indians? Nothing is going to come out of this meeting, but the act of meeting the Indians in India is designed to send a message. We wonder who is pulling the strings in Lanka these days...
Either way, the Tamils of Lanka have no future other than the one that is given to them by the Rajapakse family. So, I think they better be talking to the Rajapakses instead of the Indians.

It is very clear that an endorsement from India is necessary to go ahead with any proposals whether you like it or not.
Monday, 07 June 2010 06:12 AM
Which former boss you are talking about. Is it Praba or Karuna.
Both of them r rejected by Tamils.
But, Pilllayan is a man of Action and Honesty.

India using the British tactic of divide and rule ?
Monday, 07 June 2010 08:02 AM
They want Pillayan's advice to handle the menace of Maoists whom the Indian army cannot handle. An army of nearly 10,000 could not catch even forest brigand veerappan, who had only a shotgun, for 15 years. India should first solve the problems of her people. Sri Lanka pooh poohs these stupid tactics.
Monday, 07 June 2010 08:15 AM
Well, why go to India for the slightest issue? It's an internal problem, so le it be sorted withing and external force shouldnt be tolerated. Does India have other countries telling them about the Naxalite issues? Similarly most countries have internal rifts BUT they srt it out within the country. Bullies better keep away and all parties who have issues better look for a home grown solution coz its home grown problems....
