    adahan Tuesday, 11 January 2011 01:22 AM

A step to counter the RAW if and when India turns her back against Sri Lanka which is not unlikely.

    sena Tuesday, 11 January 2011 01:24 AM

If they can do a Good Job where is Bin Ladin -Our people can go and Train them sure their inteligence community will do much better after our trainning.

    Cobra Tuesday, 11 January 2011 01:23 AM

So they did.But it was only hardware they helped us with which we appreciate very much. But training spies.........?

    Cobra Tuesday, 11 January 2011 01:26 AM

This is called the blind leading the blind and what happens in the end is that they both fall in the ditch!

    Faqi Tuesday, 11 January 2011 02:13 AM

You should know they have to protect their country from RAW, Mossad and CIA its not simple.

    Victor Tuesday, 11 January 2011 02:34 AM

Not a good idea. Nobody likes ISI or Pakistan for that matter these days. It gives an excuse for India and US to meddle with us in the long run. Tell them thank you for the offer but stay away from them.

Loku Pissa Tuesday, 11 January 2011 02:35 AM

They could not protect our cricket team while they were in Pakistan, how come they help on this.

    NAIDE Tuesday, 11 January 2011 04:06 AM

THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIND TALIBAN TERRORISTS IN THEIR OWN BACK YARD, FRONT OR THE SIDE ! "WHAT FOR THE TELLING".

    citizen1 Tuesday, 11 January 2011 04:18 AM

When did Pakistan become the authority on espionage??
They are generally blatantly obvious about everything!

    priyal Tuesday, 11 January 2011 04:27 AM

What i dont think that we need to train our police and intelligence in sri lanka by pakistan they should get from sri lanka till now they have not found Mr Bin laden so what kind of Intelligence they have,

    reality Tuesday, 11 January 2011 04:29 AM

whatever said Pakistan helped Sri Lanka during the war not only with military equipment but also manpower(kept secret due to India) and intelligence.Pakistan is ahead of Sri Lanka in this respect.Sri Lanka will have to turn to China,Iran and Pakistan for military support as India,US,UK etc aren't going to help, but only want to see the resuming of war in our country.

    s jayawardene Tuesday, 11 January 2011 04:51 AM

We will be able to help on that

    leela Monday, 10 January 2011 08:01 PM

pakistan ..please dont teach us bad habits

    siripala Tuesday, 11 January 2011 06:18 AM

What make Pakistan qualified to train our spies? looking at the past incidents in Pakistan i reckon it should be other way around. Someone must be getting a big commission on this deal. hmm....

    Non-typical SLankan Tuesday, 11 January 2011 06:25 AM

Pak President can do nothing about slaying of liberal Punjab Gov- his friend. Both our countries held to ransom by religious/nationalist extremists. Chart differences, readers.

    Hussain Tuesday, 11 January 2011 06:28 AM

The frustrated US administration trying to spy our security forces thru Pakistan. We won the war without CIA's support. The need of time is Pakistan need to get Sri Lankan support to eliminate the terrorism on its own soil.

    SADAAAAA Tuesday, 11 January 2011 06:34 AM

we are welcome we know Pakistan help to us in war time they provided to us multi barrel rocket launcher it is main reason for protect 40000 troop in Jaffna peninsula it is great help to us i highly appreciated you are welcome sir

    Siri Tuesday, 11 January 2011 07:39 AM

Totally agree with MARU PORA. Pakistan Police need to be sent on many training courses, before they start showing off. The country is in a mess. The President's wife was assasinated on her first rally, Prov. Governor killed for speaking his heart against blasphemy laws, Sri Lankan cricketers shot and hospitalised, Officers killed in the process - all within a few yrs. Weren't they seeking our Army help to combat terrorism a few months ago?

    xlntgson Tuesday, 11 January 2011 09:46 AM

    Intelligence shouldn't wipe out intelligentsia!

    xlntgson Tuesday, 11 January 2011 09:47 AM

Death sentence for blasphemy means, most of the Pakistani leaders deserve death sentence for selling Islam for political survival!

mohamed asfar Tuesday, 11 January 2011 10:07 AM

i think our guys must teach the pakistani spies. our guys are the masters in the game. see what they did to the LTTE ?

    Jason Tuesday, 11 January 2011 12:14 PM

When another country offers some form of assistance, instead of being grateful our idiots mock them.

    You guys are pathetic!

    kumari Tuesday, 11 January 2011 12:26 PM

    Owa kiya kiyada karanne?

    Phil Tuesday, 11 January 2011 12:27 PM

Those who spy on the saint and pass it on to the devil are sure to miss the Blessing.

    Et tu Sri Lanka?

    citizen1 Tuesday, 11 January 2011 06:16 PM

Its an assistance that has nothing to do with what we need...hence the objections. If they offered free coconut or chicken & eggs, we would welcome it.

    sam Wednesday, 12 January 2011 07:24 AM

I thought we had more than enough of our very own.... trained at the Parliament complex?

Afker Hussain Monday, 10 January 2011 01:13 PM

    spark Monday, 10 January 2011 11:58 AM

We know that our police force is incessantly corrupt, but this statement by Pakistan PM who heads a worse indisciplined and corrupt police force, is a virtual insult to the Sri Lankan Police.

    Manori Monday, 10 January 2011 11:57 AM

Pakistan must take of the Taliban and Al Quaida menace before helping us.

    malkanthi Monday, 10 January 2011 12:06 PM

What's the purpose of sending a delegation who are not directly involved in this specified portfolio? May be a bonus trip to keep them mum!

    tha Monday, 10 January 2011 12:23 PM

MARU PORA Monday, 10 January 2011 12:29 PM

    indike Monday, 10 January 2011 12:45 PM

Pakistan should get training for their spies from Sri Lanka. Especially from the SL Army intelligence services.

    Amarapala Monday, 10 January 2011 01:04 PM

    NeomalNeomal Monday, 10 January 2011 02:54 PM

We have more spies per capita than anywhere else in the world. We should train Pakistani spies.

    Yehiya-Doha Monday, 10 January 2011 03:12 PM

    First train your staff.

    Rajitha Monday, 10 January 2011 03:27 PM

i think it would be more appropriate if we offered to train their troops to combat terrorism, not the other way around

    Rick Monday, 10 January 2011 04:08 PM

I hope not. Its pretty obvious that their spies aren't very good by the amount of bombs and what not lol.

    citizen1 Monday, 10 January 2011 06:02 PM
