Members of the United National Party and the JVP staged a protest in front of the Negombo police station today and later handed over a letter to the police stating that the police should act impartially and take action regarding their complaints, Police Spokesman SSP I.M Karunaratne told Daily Mirror online.

Be aware ,Police will not take any action until a new President is installed after the 27th Jan. The Police is of course under the control of the current President.
