    Thursday, 03 June 2010 04:53 AM

They are coming for the 'Bacardi'.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 04:58 AM

All the IIFA can happen in Sri Lanka. Now we don't talk about cultures. It was really disappointing to see how Sri Lankans are treated at a famous hotel in Sri Lanka.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:10 AM

Go forward lanka, none can stop us.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:21 AM

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:36 AM

Welcome to Sri Lanka the Land of Smiles and Lies full of corruption!!!!

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:45 AM

This country will not develop as long as there are people who have attitudes like yours.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:46 AM

Why do you have to be so negative ? This event will showcase Sri Lanka and the country is bound to gain economically, with the international focus we will receive.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:48 AM

    Who says so ?

Sri Lanka stands to gain by the global attention that we would attract due to this event.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 05:48 AM

Everyone should be able to see a good thing as good, rather than saying we dont need IIFA and to spend money usefuly as country we dont have one aspect, only we have many aspects to look into some sri lankans are real scrooges they cant even appreciate good thing. so negative

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 04:50 AM

We extend you a warm welcom to Sri Lanka.!!
Heros on celluloid and real life. UNLIKE THOSE WHO CHICKENED OUT - THE BACHANS & SHAH RUKS..

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 06:12 AM

Show of Actors in full suit not suiting the climate and scantily clad actresses in a flesh show. Wow Sri Lanka! we live in heaven or hell?

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 06:39 AM

still I see this as B Team

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 07:00 AM

Mr. sheltonwijesiri, Before talking about half naked bodies of the bollywood stars, please open your eyes to look at our own half naked tele drama stars !

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 07:04 AM

this will kill our film industry

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 07:40 AM

No, this is not a " B " Team. Except Amitaab and Shah Rukh, all other top stars are attending. Aamir Khan does not attend any awards ceremony, wheather in India or abroad.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 07:47 AM

    Blame game nothing else

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 09:45 AM

Stars , the heads stayed home but the tails arrived in colombo.
What kind of event without Sharuk, Amitap's and the other leading indian starts.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 04:49 PM

Shahrukh hasn't attended IIFA for 5 years now ... But it's true that the Bachchans 'chickened-out,' especially with the release of Raavan coming-up. Sad, but true.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:35 AM

It looks only the second level stars of Bollywood (except Salman) are participating the event. It's sad the top stars of bollywood - SRK, Amithabh, Amir Khan, Abhishek, Aiswarya etc. are not participating the event. It's a setback to the tourism minister.

    Wednesday, 02 June 2010 09:51 PM

    Who cares?

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 12:03 AM

    Welcome to Sri Lanka!

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 02:24 AM

The main stars have boycotted this event very rightfully and in line with their conscience and plight of the tamils in SL.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 02:31 AM

You cant call Shah Rukh Khan a coward at least because the last time he was here, he almost escaped death due to a bomb blast carried out by the fanatic Hela karumaya chaps. Wonder what the fanatics are thinking now with all these stars coming over for the IIFA.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 02:35 AM

Is it Indian Film academy awards or Hindi Film Academy awards?

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:17 AM

    well said

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:23 AM

Why not Sharukh and Priyanka? Are they still afraid of what has happened to them in previous visit. Because some of our partiots shownd them how we treat visitors. Please set an example at least this time instead of blaming them.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:24 AM

I salute the stars who came as they promised!!!

they are the "real" heroes of Bollywood.. where as the "Zero" decided to stay back!

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:28 AM

Sri lankans should not attend these types of useless entertainment. What will it give to audiences except showing half naked bodies of Indian ladies.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:33 AM

S.H.M : Hats off mate...best quote for the day....!!!!

    Wednesday, 02 June 2010 06:46 PM

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:40 AM

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:43 AM

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:50 AM

Each time the government organises a tamasha - the gods punish us with rain. Take these stars on a round the city tour after a day or so of rain.

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 03:53 AM

ANOTHER ELECTION ROUND THE CORNER ? OR THE PRICES OF THINGS ABOUT TO GO UP ?

    Thursday, 03 June 2010 04:12 AM
