India-Sri Lanka final ODI abandoned over poor pitch conditions

The 5th and final One Day International (ODI) between India and Sri Lanka had been abandoned over poor pitch conditions. Earlier Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakara stopped play over the dangerous conditions of the pitch at the venue in New Delhi and the match referee, after consultations with players and officials decided to call off the match.
