A chest physician attached to the chest clinic of the Colombo National hospital today checked the health condition of General Sarath Fonseka who is under military detention and reconfirmed that he was in good health contrary to claims by his wife Anoma Fonseka.
Speaking to Daily Mirror online Military spokesman Major General Prasad Samarasinghe stated that certain tests were also carried out and that General Fonseka continued to be in good health. The same physician had examined General Sarath Fonseka last Monday as well.

WHY NOT GET HIS USUAL DOCTORS, WHO HAVE TREATED HIM SINCE THE SUICIDE ATTEMPT ON HIS LIFE, TO EXAMINE HIM. WHY GET OTHER DOCTORS?

Who is this 'chest physician' and what are his qualifications? How long is his work experience?

Maybe the honorary doctors (PhDs in 'thuggery') of the government could check our 'national hero of all time.'

Maj. Gen. Samarasinghe, please reveal to the public who this 'specialist' doctor is, so that he can be held accountable. Why this 'cloak and dagger' policy on such a simple deed as showing a War Hero to a doctor? There are so many untruths uttered by the GOSL that we don't believe your statements, which we know are mandatory for you to utter.
