Fonseka ready to face Mahinda Rajapakse in public debate

Opposition Presidential Candidate General Sarath Fonseka is prepared to face President Mahinda Rajapakse in a public debate over allegations involving his son-in-law to an illegal arms deal, Media Coordinator for the Opposition Anura Kumara Dissanayake said at a media briefing a short while ago.

 

Speaking to the media Dissanayake said that General Fonseka is prepared to face the President; in response to an invitation that was laid out yesterday by National Freedom Front Leader Wimal Weerawansa; and answer to allegations levelled against him. (KB)
