DNA leader Sarath Fonseka is likely to be brought back to his prison cell today due to the improvement in his health, Prisons Commissioner Major General (Ret) V.R Silva told Daily Mirror online

The Prisons Commissioner added that Sarath Fonseka’s health condition has improved and that it was likely that he will be brought back to his prison cell today from the prison hospital.

The former Army Commander was admitted to the Prison Hospital at the Welikada prison due to a sudden illness on Tuesday (16th) night. (Daily Mirror online)

SF was never in power as a democratic leader. If he is in power today, he will apply the military rule, which is the only knowledge base he possess, people will worship MR. After he learns to humble himself during a time of training in whatever form, he should be fit to rule the country.

Eli, I lost two brothers during the war. One in 1996 and other in 2006. SF could have done nothing if the external pressure was not neutralized by MR & GR. If you want to see real war heroes go to Rana Viru sevana Ragama they have scarified their entire lives for our future. Unlike SF, he was guarded by 600 men and traveled by helicopter and lived in a concrete top house due to fear from air attacks. Remember SF was targeted right under his nose by a suicide attack not in the battle field.

Any law bound citizen has the right to contest. Where in the constitution does it say that 'one should not contest against X or Y? There have been scores of cases where even family members have contested against each other at elections, and this was an election too. Kicking the ladder! My foot!! MR kicked the ladder called SF who won him the war.
