Ex-soldiers to file FR

A group of ex-military officers who were arrested a few weeks ago over allegations they were involved in an alleged coup with General Sarath Fonseka against the government but were later released over lack of evidence are to file a Fundamental Rights (FR) petition over their arrest, sources told Daily Mirror online.

    this clearly indicate that the arrest of Sarath Fonseka was to take political revenge and the conspiracy charge cannot be established.
