Good opportunity to Sri Lankan Government to buy this. So that they can put all future delegations participating UN conferences in NYC, here.

Dr. Jackson Wednesday, 20 October 2010 03:53 AM

I sincerely hope one or the members of our Royal family will purchase this landmark hotel... we can be proud as Sri Lankans again.

No, never in a cheap hotel, it is Waldorf Astoria or nothing, it is of course the tax payer who gets nothing.

Holfman Kraenzlin Wednesday, 20 October 2010 05:38 AM

I can see the comments of the people of usual negative attitude. You will stay there for ever criticizing each others.

Neither Manhindor Rajapaksue nor your former army general need your support of the people who usually are in negative mood.

    Managala Wednesday, 20 October 2010 07:19 AM

True indeed Holfman our Sri Lankan are so perfect so they are very good at blaming people for not being perfect that's why we are still developing country not only politicos people also the same only negative talks...

    faizalsamsu Wednesday, 20 October 2010 07:24 AM

    hahaha.... definitely...

Mukesh Ambani Wednesday, 20 October 2010 07:40 AM

    My Bid :- 30 Million Dollars ( Cash )

    Yehiya-Doha Wednesday, 20 October 2010 02:11 PM

They are not fool like our royal family. They earn hard.

    Faqi Wednesday, 20 October 2010 05:30 PM

This is a land mark boutique hotel in New York, I do not think anyone in Sri Lanka has the funds to buy this hotel on 23rd street. Its only wishful thinking not even the King of S/L would have the funds
