Browns conducts knowledge-sharing programme for Puttalam farmers

Brown & Company PLC’s Veterinary Pharmaceuticals division recently conducted the second, in a series of monthly educational programmes for farmers island wide. 
Held in Galmuruwa, Dummalasooriya – the programme saw the participation of around fifty farmers. Topics covered current farming-related matters, chronic farm animal diseases, methods on increasing productivity and disease prevention, latest trends in the broiler and layer industries.  Brown & Company’s Veterinary Pharmaceuticals division markets a portfolio of leading global brands for poultry, companion animals and dairy sectors. It is also the market leader in the supply of nutrition, drugs, vaccines, vitamins, minerals and antibiotics primarily for the poultry and companion animal sector, with a few products being supplied to the dairy sector as well.
