It was not so long ago that Anything.lk celebrated reaching the 50,000 fans milestone on Facebook. Scarcely two months after that, Anything.lk has reached a staggering 100,000 fans. This is no mean feat when you consider that there is only one other Sri Lankan company on Facebook that has more fans (incidentally a partner of Anything.lk as well) and that this was achieved in under six months of being in operation. Anything.lk is the Fastest ever Sri Lankan commercial company to reach 100,000 Facebook Fans and at the same time 300,000 unique visitors.

“There are plenty of personalities on Facebook who have more fans than us and that is not something we are disputing. But, in terms of commercial organisations, we are knocking on the door of first place and we hope to take it very soon,” said CEO of Anything.lk, Reeza Zarook. “Every other deals website in Sri Lanka can claim to be number one or that they are closing the gap on number one or some story like that, but numbers don’t lie. We sell the most amount of vouchers (90% of all vouchers sold by all deals companies), we have the tie ups with the Radio Stations, Newspapers, Magazines, huge email address databases and soon TV and hoarding sites as well. So we can show the merchant value and give them reach which others simply cannot. 100,000 fans on Facebook is yet another show of strength and it means that when a merchant goes with us, they have access to at least 100,000 people immediately.”

Anything.lk’s Head of Business Development, Jeggan Rajendram said, “Facebook has been a fantastic medium for us and our merchants. It enables us to carry on conversations with our customers about current and past deals. This conversation and the resulting information we gather helps us structure our future deals better and also very importantly helps us resolve any queries that our customers have regarding past deals and deal redemption.
