    steve Tuesday, 07 September 2010 06:16 AM

    What democracy for cavemen???
Sri Lankans are not educate enough to understand the values and merits of democracy. Even Mahinde regime will regret this amendment some day just as the UNP now are regretting introducing the executive presidency to Sri Lanka.
In Sri Lanka, incumbent president can never be defeated in an election. He goes to election with all machinery and the powers and it is just one horse race.
May God bless the King and Sri Lanka!

Sir, Your name will be written in gold as a beloved son of mother Sri Lanka in the 1000s of years to come. Thanks for supporting our hero President Mahinda rajapksha at this crucial hour. As citizens of Sri Lanka we invite all MPs to join hands in the rpocess of democratisation of the country by corporating with the constitutional amendments.
