Mr Eran or Dr Harsha should have been given the Finance. I think SL is going nowhere with the swap of finance and foreign ministries. Mess is going to a messier

    SL Monday, 22 May 2017 11:20 AM

It is voters who shall select talented individuals to parliament.Sending same clan in every election will not change anything.

Kadupol Jothywansa Monday, 22 May 2017 11:21 AM

Yes Amaraweera has more links with MR than MS. It is dangerous to have this spy in the Govt.

    J Palitha Monday, 22 May 2017 11:23 AM

Oh my God, now itself Fishermen are waiting to come to the streets as they cannot work with Amaraweera.

SB is not suitable to be even a Urban Council Member, wrong decision by President anyway.

Bubble Banda Monday, 22 May 2017 11:30 AM

You are correct, if President wants to keep up the election promises, he should make SF as the defense minister and give him all powers to catch the MR's family JO looters.

Kiris Baba Amaray Monday, 22 May 2017 11:34 AM

Can Mangala manage Finance? Very much doubtful and I am sure President should re-consider this appointment.

Desmond Jeromme Monday, 22 May 2017 11:35 AM

Mr. Sujeewa should be given a Ministerial post as he is a honest person who suffered a lot to form this Govt.

Minister of Foreign Affairs - This portfolio sets the tone how the country is going ahead with its relationships with other countries. For us, this is a major aspect for our developments. Im sure the government could have come up with a better person that Ravi K. Its absurd. Finanace Minister - I guess they dont want an educated person in that field to take up the portfolio. sigh
