Perodua President and CEO Aminar Rashid Salleh said that Sri Lanka poses a tremendous potential for the Malaysian car models as the island’s economy expands.
“For 21 years, Unimo has being doing a splendid job to market our car models and the demand has been increasing every year. From the beginning of 2017 we are focused on expanding our exports in order to become a key regional player,” he said.
United Motors Group CEO and Executive Director Chanaka Yatawara said that the formidable partnership formed with Perodua would help to grow the brand name in the Sri Lankan market which has been well accepted since it was introduced two
decades ago.
“We believe that the Bezza will be well-accepted in Sri Lanka as this car has all the features that appeals to all; it is spacious, well-designed, fuel-efficient and versatile – a winning combination,” Yatawara said.
