IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced that Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd, a subsidiary of leading conglomerate Sunshine Holdings PLC, has successfully gone live with IFS Applications 9 following a rapid nine-month implementation project.
Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd has successfully implemented a comprehensive business solution that supports mission-critical processes such asdocument management, business intelligence, finance, supply chainmanagement, and maintenance.
A rapid implementation to support the company’s growth was one of the main reasons Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd chose IFS Applications over competing products—this was driven by the company’s business need to have an enterprise solution that seamlessly integrates with Sunshine Healthcare’s distribution centers, warehousing, Finance, CRM & SFA.
Sunshine Healthcare sources, markets, and distributes pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical diagnostic equipment, and surgical products to over 2,000 pharmacies across Sri Lanka. Following a competitive evaluation process, the company decided to replace its several legacy systems with a fully integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution from IFS. Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd commenced its ERP implementation project in June 2016.
ShyamSathasivam, CEO and Managing Director of Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd, said, “Sunshine Holdings is aggressively investing in its IT capabilities across the group, with Sunshine Healthcare leading the way with this first in Sri Lanka model of IFS entirely on the Azure Cloud. We believe these IT investments will significantly improve our productivity and help us create greater customer value.”
“Implementing IFS, a top-tier enterprise applications suite, in less than nine months was a great achievement by both IFS and Sunshine team,”said Shantha Bandara, General Manager Operations at Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd.“We appreciate the rapid implementation capabilities of IFS Applications and look forward to leveraging the raft of benefits that the solution offers to our organization.”
Poorna Bandara, General Manager and Director of Consulting Services for IFS in Sri Lanka added, “We are pleased to announce the successful implementation of IFS Applications at Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd. By working with a leading conglomerate such as Sunshine Holdings PLC, we continue to deliver agile best-practice industry solutions to reinforce our position as a committed ERP service provider.
