Strathspey Estate opens cultural hall

Maskeliya Plantations PLC managed Strathspey Estate in Upcot constructed a cultural hall at the cost of  Rs. 3.8 million, and was opened on 18th January, in Ladbroke Division of Strathspey Estate, Upcot.


This building  (hall) was constructed for the benefit of the workers and the population of this division as well as for the surrounding estates namely Stockholm, Gouravilla, Alton and Fairlawn, in order to have their weddings, age attained Ceremonies, birthday functions, meetings and other functions etc.
