Sri Lanka Cricket today confirmed its commitment to play the third and final T20 game of the ongoing Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Pakistan on the 29th of October. The decision comes days after players handed a letter requesting to change the venue due to security concerns.
“SLC have over the past two months conducted a thorough evaluation with the assistance of the Government of Sri Lanka, the Government of Pakistan, the PCB and independent Security experts," SLC said in a statement.

Very dangerous country even for a short visit as Pakistan Government and Army patronized terrorist groups

Don't worry about the players. We will be in the air conditioned stands watching the game sipping a beer.

Remember, should anything happen SLC officials will be fully accountable.

Ultimate aim is for SLC to get the credit for having succeeded in being the first to send a team to Pakistan since terror attacks there. No concern for the players or for their feelings and fears. An absolutely selfish motive which should be condemned. If disaster strikes all that SLC will say is that they got assurances from Pakistani authorities. Some years back when Sri Lanka was in the grips of terror and Pakistan was to tour our country they demanded five million (or was it fifty million) dollars in gold. If I remember right, that tour was called off.

You can have all the security in the world but you cant stop a suicide bomber or long range artillery fired at the target.

There are 2 points.1) When we were in trouble in 1996, the Pakistanis came here and saved us a world cup forfeiture. We cannot forget that.2) Player security and comfort is utmost. So no player should be forced or punished for their decisions. Now the selection for the 3 T20s will be for those who consent to play all 3. That in itself is an punishment, cos if u decide not to go, u cant be in the team for the other 2 also.Justice Sumathipala style.

Let Sumathipala go to Pakistan and play his politics there and remain in there. Do not put our players in danger.

Be brave cowards die 1000 times during their life time any how before they depart. Do not show weak heart to the terrorist. ,
