President Maithripala Sirisena today visited and observed the construction site of the Lotus Tower which is considered as the tallest building in Sri Lanka. He instructed the engineers to carry out the construction activities efficiently. The engineers said that the constructions of the Lotus Tower could be completed by March. Apparently you can see Mattala airport from there as well as Hambantota port and on a clear day it's just possible to make out the remnants of Mihin Air.
