President Maithripala Sirisena who arrived in London on Monday to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting-2018, took part in the Oil Anointing Ceremony held at the London Buddhist Vihara.
The Chief Sangha Nayaka of Great Britain and the Chief Incumbent of the London Buddhist Vihara, Venerable Bogoda Seelawimala Nayaka Thera invoke blessings on the President and the delegation.
Afterwards, the President took part in the religious observances held at the Temple. He met with the Sri Lankans who were at the Vihara and extended wishes for the new year. (Courtesy: President’s Media Division)
