Fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep has been ruled out of the five-match ODI series against Pakistan with a hamstring injury.
Pradeep has complained about stiffness in his hamstring after the second Test against Pakistan in Dubai. Sri Lanka won the series 2-0, their first-ever series victory against Pakistan in UAE.
Fast bowler Lahiru Gamage, who made his Test debut in Dubai, has been retained for the ODIs.
Pradeep will undergo scans in Colombo to assess the seriousness of his injury. The five-match ODI series gets underway in Dubai tomorrow.
