The Philippines President, a hard guy, essentially invited MS to Philippines to learn about the military secreat for the Sri Lankan Army’s crushing victory over the LTTE terrorists. So the signing of the military related arrangements are real all other agreements are just a cosmetic cover.

Absolute nonsense... this is a farce trip for the President where most countries do not respect him anymore equally to the citizens of his own country. We gain nothing from this farce trip.

Hey Buffalo, it was the Philippines President who invited MS to visit him. Jaffna Logic is absolutely right as to why the invitation came since MS has nothing else to offer.
