I would say Ranil leaves way for Sajith Premadasa to take over UNP. This is best for the country. If Mahinda is allowed to take over the country, there is no doubt family politics will start and the West will not support our nation. We all know the value of West, but the RAJAPAKSES clans think otherwise.

His Brother Dudly Srisena is direct responsible for rice price gone up. Do he is a clean hand. How can he involve UNP matter.

This problem could have been sorted if this election is treated as a provincial council election and the vote against the govt by the people. But The Govt doesn't have to bow down to the verdict immediately, but continue until the next elections with the new set up.People has the right to vote to whom they please. but The Govt has to run the country until the next election with out further unnecessary protests with the opposition and previous rulers.As we can see the people will never get what they want any govt, although the candidates do make promises they can never fulfill.But the Govt has to continue with all odds until the Next elections.Their will be the opposition trying their level best to Topple Govt but They should not continue with it as the people has given their displeasure and protest in the Elections.Let the Govt correct their mistakes and continue for the progress and well being of its citizens.May God Help you the Govt in this marathon task
