The International Trade and Investment Promotion Ministry yesterday stressed that no decision has been reached to temporarily suspend the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
“The Government of Sri Lanka has not yet decided to temporarily suspend the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
The further actions on the Singapore-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement will be taken based on the recommendations of the expert committee appointed by the president to review the agreement and the decisions of the FR cases filed at the Supreme Court,” a ministry statement said.
