So..Mathews did not know his wife is expecting a baby?? And the Cricket Board allowed him a joy ride to West Indies for a fun (test) match??? Over to you Mr. Minister, this has to be investigated and punish all who are responsible for these kind of mismanagement...and this should be the last time Mathews represented Sri Lanka...enough is enough...

This joke has been going on from 2015 , cannot remember the last time that Mathews had completed a full tour but still he is being treated like a royal prince by Sumathipala and Co.

Whether SL suffers or not Mathews should be punished and kicked out from SL cricket.

Child birth is unpredictable after the 8th month. It can happen just into the 9th month or well way before the date. So don't judge.

You are a joker. He should know when the due date is and what you are talking is rubbish
USAGUY Thursday, 14 June 2018 05:21 PM
Exactly and that's why he shouldn't have gone in the first place. SLC always include passengers on joy rides on tours.

Duty first boys... We are facing this pathitic situation in cricket as most of the professionals forget the origin of their careers...

It's unfortunate that people make uneducated comments about another's personal circumstances

Seems most of them commented are insensitive. Aussie, English,South african players return back during an on going series for the same reasons as Angie. Mind you he played one test before returning, though his performance was not as expected. Congratulations Angie on your new bundle of joy!
