Kandy Sports Club continued their winning streak in the Dialog Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament when they outclassed Air Force Sports Club by 52 points (eight tries and six conversions) to 22 points (four tries and one conversion) in their second-round fixture worked off at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy yesterday (06).
At the breather Kandy SC led 38-5.
Kandy SC drew first blood when their hooker cum prop forward, Yakoob Ali touched down. Thilina Wijesinghe added the extras.
Kandy SC scored again through Anuruddha Wilwara (2), Vishwamithra Jayasinghe (2) and Nigel Ratwatte in the initial half.
After the turnaround, Kandy SC scored more tries through Buwaneka Udangamuwa and Thilina Wijesinghe while the visitors touched down through Praveen Charles, Parakkrama Ratnayake and Nuwan Perera.
Iddamalgoda converted one of them.
