CR and FC have signed Samoan third rower Joseph Fuimaono ahead of the Dialog Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament which will kick-off this weekend.
The 22-year-old has already represented the Samoa ‘A’ team and will certainly strengthen the Red Shirts as they look to secure the league title under head coach Nilfer Ibrahim.
“We are happy to have him signed for CR and FC. He is a good strong boy and we hope he could be an influential player for the club,” CR management told Daily Mirror.
Fuimaono’s late arrival meant that his participation for the opening game remains to be a doubt.
“We are working hard with him and try our best to make him available for the opening game, but it looks unlikely at the moment,” CR and FC revealed.
