Well I suppose every province of our country has its own underworld to pressurise judges, state officers, police etc. This is simply because the law is not admiinistered evenly by both Police Ag's Dept Legislature and Judiciary. Good example of inequality is how the big politicos go to hospital or get bail and politicos who do not declare assets get away with Rs.1000 per year fine.

Immediate steps must be taken to arrest and prosecute those who are responsible for this. Although some appear to have forgotten, Justice Sarath Ambepitiya was assasinated some years back by Potta Naufer. While condeming this attack, I must state that what has happened is not unique to the North as some have pointed out. These type of things should not be allowed to happen any where in the country and it's high time that the security of judges be increased.

This crime may have been planned by the suspects of Vidya's murder case.
