A protest to create awareness to the general public regarding the Treasury Bonds controversy would be held opposite the Central Bank tomorrow at 9.30 a.m, the Joint Opposition (JO) announced today.
Addressing a press briefing JO Parliamentarian MP Bandula Gunawardena said the government was conspiring to place the blame on Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He said that the Joint Opposition was holding the protest in view of this moves.
However, he said that they hoped to meet the Central Bank Governor as well.
