Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath and two others were today released on bail by Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne.
They were each released on cash bail of Rs.50, 000 with two sureties of Rs.1 million each.
Also a travel ban was imposed on Mr. Senarath and the second suspect Mr. Piyadasa Kudabalage
They were arrested on the allegation of misusing Government funds allocated for the construction of Hyatt Regency Hotel in Colombo. (Yoshitha Perara)

And the case will be heard a year later. Meantime going abroad iis simple - just apply to the court. Recently Prasanna and wife Maureen just got permission being on bail. So no poblem with going about as if all is well.

I suggest to send everybody on bail and empty the courtrooms. Give the police the bailout powers to make things easy.

First they rob public money and they spend public money prosecute or should I say bail them. So at the end the public has stolen from themselves and and absolved themselves. So case closed.
