When MR appointed PM on 26 Oct thugs took control of ITN. Where were you then. The thugs ran the ITN and you were silent. Better late than never. I agree with your cry. Not only ITN all other semi government and government establishments must be free from political appointees.

It is very strange they failed to protest when the real political interference took place post 26th October 2018 when The President and Rajapakse illegally took control of the public media outlet and like in a cruel dictatorship started broadcasting party propaganda. Where were these freedom fighters then? People cant be fooled like that. We all know that these people have been set up by their puppet -masters to destabilize the legally appointed government. It is becoming clearer by the day that a guerrilla campaign to destabilize the government has started with the blessings of the President. People need to be made aware of this and asked to be alert to protect our democracy from people like these protesters who try to sell the country for personal gain. We saw what happened to Arjuna through people like these. We have seen Bandula Gun.. criticizing exam results. All part of the campaign. They will keep going; just to grab power, by hook or by crook. Not for the good of our country.

This protest starts from the employees of ITN. They have clear reasons behind the situation. Huge financial corruptions during last 3 years which leads to a risk of financial instability, loosing their television rankings due to decisions of political appointees, dictatorial management style etc. President should listen to employees of ITN.

I see amongst the protesters well known SLPP supporters such as ROGER SENEVIRATNE who chased away employees of ITN on the 26th. He isn't even an employee..
