    Speeding...Speeding...Speeding!!!

Allowing private bus service should be banned. Government must implement UK kind of shuttle service where the bus operate by the government

There is no point building great roads and highways if people dont know how to drive. Buses race against each other, they are a law onto themselves and the inept police and just watching. what a shame

Hang that driver. It's not an accident. It's cold blooded murder. Educate the drivers and implement heavy penalties for reckless driving.

Most of private buses being owned by higher ups in the government or politicians.

We face the same problem every evening on the Kesbewa-Bandaragama road, at Jaburueliya. The speeding motorists will not stop at the pedestrian crossing, and we have to virtually force ourselves forward to cross the road, risking our lives. This is a busy junction and a policeman should be placed on duty.

Ban private buses. This is insane

    Don Tuesday, 18 October 2016 02:57 PM

It's not a secret that even some policemen own private buses.

There are light signals on Galle road to allow pedestrian crossing. I have seen many bus drivers ignoring these. Also, the pedestrians too do jay walking sometimes. Law enforcement officers please stop these indiscipline behaviour.
