The Brandix Group has announced its continued commitment to efforts to promote safety and health at workplaces as a key sponsor of the 2017 National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Conference of Sri Lanka, an event it is supporting for the eighth consecutive year.
Organised by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) of the Ministry of Labour, Trade Union Relations and Sabaragamuwa Development, the conference on 11th October 2017, is the highlight of the National Occupational Safety and Health Week programme. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Prevent all Occupational Injuries and Go Home Safely.’
The cheque for the Gold sponsorship of the 2017 National Occupational Safety and Health Conference was presented by Brandix Apparel Director Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Harsha Abeywickrema to NIOSH Director General Dr. Champika Amarasinghe.
This is the 10th occasion overall that Brandix, the single largest employer in Sri Lanka’s export sector, is supporting events connected with the National Safety Week initiative.
