Very happy that the baby elephant was extricated from the concrete well. Its best that the wild life department invest in some canvas straps for use in situations such as this as done in Africa. Canvas straps could be but around the body of the elephant and attached to an excavagtor arm to lift a stranded elephant from a ditch or well with no ill effects on the elephant or any other animal in a similiar situation.
