Amãna Takaful launches Rhoda Uda Viplavaya insurance scheme in Central, NC Provinces

Amãna Takaful PLC (ATL) proudly showcased its latest revolutionary insurance schemes, Smart Rider Cover, a compelling insurance scheme for motorbikes and Tuk Tuk Full, a unique insurance scheme for thre-wheelers, in the Kandy, Kurunegala and Anuradhapura Districts recently.  
The events were attended by Amãna Takaful CEO Fazal Ghaffoor together with the management staff of ATL. Also in attendance were the officers in charge of the traffic police divisions of the respective localities and many other dignitaries comprising of businessmen, representatives of three-wheel owners’ unions and third party distribution agents of ATL.
ATL, the pioneer and only fully-fledged Takaful provider in the island, has always been a forerunner in introducing revolutionary insurance schemes that benefit policy holders in providing them with financial protection over multiple circumstances. The two new schemes introduced have taken the insurance markets by storm and is generating much enthusiasm amongst the three-wheel and motorbike community. 
The Tuk Tuk Full insurance subscribers could look forward to an array of benefits that give comprehensive indemnity across a range of circumstances, thus assuring that its subscribers would have their financial losses minimized at times of distress. The policyholders are essentially entitled to receive Rs.300,000 in case of accidental death, Rs.1000 per day up to a maximum of four days a year for any repairs that would result in an income loss, Rs.750 per day and up to a maximum of 10 days in case of hospitalization resulting in income loss. 
Furthermore, in case of death of a family member of the policyholder, the insurance scheme releases a sum of Rs.25,000 as funeral expenses and also provides the policyholder Rs.100,000 cover against 38 critical illnesses and Rs.300,000 for circumstances resulting in permanent disability.
The Smart Rider Cover, the insurance scheme for motorbikes, is also loaded with competitive benefits to the policyholder such as a Rs.300,000 compensation for accidental death, Rs.750 per day up to a maximum of 10 days for hospitalization resulting in income loss and Rs.25,000 as funeral expenses in case of a death of a family member of the policyholder. It also provides a Rs.100,0000 cover for 38 critical illnesses and Rs.300,000 in case of permanent disability.
