It's typical SL style.Shut the stable door after the horse has bolted.Why don't the authorities have compliance and regulatory bodies for everything?Corrupt officials get away with big handouts and don't care about the rest.

It is when some tragedy like this happens that the relevant authorities run to the toilet. It seems that none of the employees knew of the dangers of inhaling ammonia. The two people who went to rescue the 1st man became victims too because they were totally ignorant about ammonia though this factory was using it. So the Lab Controller also becomes culpable.

Protesting, Closing the factory or arresting of management will not be a solution for such incidents. Please check how many companies or factories running without proper standards and un awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures. Such factories must introduce work method statement and which to be approved by respectable authorities, apparently it must be implemented as per the documentation.
