A heart-stopping moment

2017-12-06 08:27:09

A group of lions were jumping for joy after a young buck's attempt to leap over the pride ended miserably for the young dear. The charging buck came hurtling towards the group of lucky lions, who wasted no time in dragging the animal to the floor and sinking their teeth in. The buck can be seen struggling as the four lions hold down the animal, tearing it apart as they share the meal between them. The incident was witnessed in Nelspruit, South Africa. (Daily Mail)

Now the animal rights groups will start against publicity of such scenes . Little do they realise that this is nature. Hunting is hunting. By animals or humans. It's all the same.

Humans can think before acting out. That's the difference.

Why show such videos on a national newspaper website? Isn't this violence? How is this violence different from other forms of violence that you don't publish in this manner?

I wouldn't call this violence. This is how the animals survive. If the lions don't hunt they will go hungry.

It is true that this is the way with animals in the jungle. My point is not that. When we show this to a young child, what would be its affect on him? What do we tell him?

While in grown up are in hunting, the lion cubs are eaten by Hybes, Foxes, or even by Pythons. Even killed by another male lion. So there are few survivors and they eat the the herbivores which are multiplied in numbers as they eats plants available plentiful.

God sent the food at the right time into the mouth of those hungry lions.
