By appointing certain lackies of former government in a crucial ministry such as defence seem new government too suffering from Pakinson and all shoutings were nothing but election gimmicks. The cases eventually will die down. Feeling sorry for people wanted justice.

    Technocrats Wednesday, 09 September 2015 08:04 AM

In other countries most of the top Ministers are technocrats.

@justicia. Not always. The Secretary should be a person who can take excellent decisions by leading such professionals. The Secretary post of a Ministry is much more similar to the position of CEO at Private Sector Company. For an example, the CEO of an Airline company is not essential to be a PILOT.

Definitely, the same criteria should be applied in appointing Ministers. BUT Alas how many can we find in our bunch !
