The UNP members of the local bodies in the districts of Anuradhpura, Polonnaruwa and Galle today passed resolutions that MP Sajith Premadasa be made the leader of the party. In Anuradhapura, 36 members out of the total 48 voted the resolution while in Galle 44 out of 57 members had supported pro-Sajith resolution. In Polonnaruwa all 19 members of the district voted for him unanimously.
