At least 21 Sri Lankan illegal immigrants including two women were arrested by the navy off the seas of Colombo with a trawler.
Navy spokesman Dinesh Bandara said two navy dora vessels were intercepted the trawler last evening.
They would be handed over to the Colombo Harbour police.
It was yet to be ascertained which country they were heading to. (Darshana Sanjeewa)

Navy said It was yet to be ascertained which country they were heading to ... We can be certain of one thing .. these individuals were heading to any place but sri lanka !! There shall be an office like OMP ... the office of floating migrants [OFM] to track and understand their reason for deserting the wonder land !!

May be they are going to jaffna.authorities say dont know where they go.if so why arrest???.is it illeagal to go by boat???.government must pay them for wrongfull arrest.freedom of movement is garrenteed by the all laws of the country,including constitution.

We are all living in our dreamland. Only we know where it is. Lanka land of Buddhism which politicians public clearly and know it since years ago somehow it turned out of to be land of hell since 2956. Many disappeared msny moved away. Many moved lived fine in foreign lands but not everyone. Country need new vision
