About 1,600 Grama Niladharis received letters of appointment at a ceremony held at Temple Trees today. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was the Chief Guest of the event. Gee.... do we have all this money to spend on these pompous so called leader's tamashas, the country is burning with debt.... this should have been done at District secretary level without wasting public money. I live in the West where this sort of behaviour is unthinkable and I never understand the SL psychy and how long people are going to tolerate this sort of rubbish by elected politicians.
