The chairman of the Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) and convener of the Pivithuru Hetak organization, the Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera said today he was disappointed that the government was not keeping the promises it had made to the people before the presidential election.

Rathana thero should leave parliament and politics altogether and should concentrate on the ways to end this horrible sansaric cycle according to Buddhism.Monks are not needed to involve in dirty politics.
