The Colombo High Court has set aside a bail order issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate on former Minister Rajitha Seneratna over the 'white van' press conference case.
High Court Judge Manjula Thilakarathna issued the order following a revision petition filed by the Attorney General (AG).
Accordingly, the former Minister is to be remanded again, the AG's office said.
Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was arrested on December 27 but was granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on December 29 over the controversial press conference.

It's time for you to retire from politics. You are no longer trusted by the general public of Srilanka. Be in jail for some time till you go to hell so that you can join the others who are already there.

In the best interest of all parties (including Rajith's own), he, together with Ravi belongs in the jail - nowhere else. As far as Rajitha goes, it is time for him to get admitted again.

IT is long overdue. These miscreants in public life should be hounded , brought to justice and punished properly. This chap ( calls himself a dentist, never practiced ) is a black mark in SL politics. He is a dirtily shrewd , vindictive, cunning, Man. He is implicated in a few questionable deals when he was a minister. He should be properly investigated and if found guilty, given the maximum punishment allowed, and banished from politics for ever.
