FR filed in SC urging legal action against Karuna Amman

A Fundamental Rights (FR) petition was filed in the Supreme Court today urging legal action be taken against Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman and that he be arrested.

The FR petition was filed by Kaduwela Urban Council member Bosath Kalahe Pathirana.

At an election rally held in Ampara recently, Karuna Amman said that he killed about 2,000 - 3,000 soldiers in one night during the war. (Farook Thajudeen & Yoshitha Perera)

What about Admiral Vasantha KARANAGODA? An interim order has prevented further action. Col. Karuna Amman's case too might end up in a similar manner. Leave to proceed may not be granted to make life easier for all concerned.
