Sri Lanka and Pakistan put up a dominant display to seal their semi-final berth on day two of the 14th West Asia (WA) Baseball Cup tournament which continued at Diyagama yesterday.
Sri Lanka secured a comfortable 19-0 victory over Nepal in the opening match of the day while Pakistan beat tournament newcomers, Bangladesh 17-0.
The remaining two semi-finalists will be decided based on the results of today’s matches between India and Nepal which will commence at 9.00 a.m. and Iran versus Bangladesh which is scheduled to start at 1.00 p.m.
Today’s winners will join Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the semi-finals to be worked off on Thursday.
