Winger Vishwamithra Jayasinghe has ended his contract with the Kandy SC.
Jayasinghe who had an outstanding school career at Isipathana College later represented CR & FC before crossing over to the Upcountry club. From there he crossed over to Navy SC before joining Kandy SC. He suffered injuries before being handed a suspension following a Mercantile Sevens tournament but later on was cleared to play after a wait of 5 months. He was an automatic choice for the national sevens outfit with his lightning pace foxing many opposition teams.
According to reliable source he is tipped to represent one of the leading Colombo clubs next season.
