Trinity take charge against St. Sebastian’s

Trinity College Kandy were well placed in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter against St. Sebastian’s College which commenced at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.
Trinity, batting first, totaled a good 230 with the help of in-form all rounder Abhishek Anandakumar who stroked a brilliant 92. 


In reply the Moratuwa school were in deep trouble losing their top six wickets for only 58 runs. Spinner Uvindu took four wickets for the Kandy School.
Meanwhile, Vidyartha College already scored first innings points in their  Under 19 inter school cricket encounter against Kingswood College which  commenced at the Police Ground in Kandy yesterday.


Elsewhere, Sri Rahula Katugastota scored a first innings win over Anuradhapura  Central in their Under 19 Inter school cricket encounter which  concluded at the University Ground in 
Peradeniya yesterday.
