Trinity College stamped their class in the All-Island Youth Boxing Championship 2019, fought out for Gen. Jagath Jaysuirya Shield, when they finished as the runners-up in Nawalapitiya recently. The event was won by St. Sylvester’s College Kandy. St. Sylvester’s claimed three Gold and one Bronze while Trinity took away one Gold, two Silver and one Bronze.
Rugby-player turned boxer, Rahul Danaraj won Gold while Miranga Subasinghe, another rugby-famed player won Silver. Nathan John walked away with the Bronze.
